How does trash bin cleaning work?

You tell us your address and which day your trash is collected. We come by after your pickup, when the bin is empty, and deep clean, pressure wash, sanitize and deodorize the inside and outside of each bin. You leave the bins at the curb after pickup and we return them clean — you never need to be home.

How much does trash bin cleaning cost in San Diego?

Accepted Answer

One-time cleaning is $20 for one bin and $35 for two bins, with each additional bin at $15. Monthly service is $15 for one bin, $25 for two, and $10 per additional bin. How often should I clean my trash bin?

Most San Diego households do well with monthly cleaning — the warm, dry climate bakes residue onto bin walls and odor builds quickly, especially in summer. If your bins mostly hold packaged waste or recycling, every three months is usually enough. A one-time deep clean is a good starting point if your bins have never been cleaned.

Do you clean recycling bins?

Yes. Recycling bins collect sticky residue from bottles, cans and food containers, and they're included at the same per-bin price as trash bins.

Do you clean green waste bins?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Green waste and organics bins are often the worst-smelling of the three because of food scraps and yard clippings, and they clean up extremely well.

Do I need to be home?

No. Just leave your bins out at the curb after your trash has been collected. We clean them and put them back. If your bins are behind a locked gate, let us know when you book and we'll work out access.

When do you clean my bins?

Accepted Answer

We clean on or right after your regular collection day, because the bin needs to be empty for a proper deep clean. That's why we ask which day your trash is picked up when you book.

How much does an additional bin cost?

On one-time service, additional bins beyond the second are $15 each. On monthly service they're $10 each, and on every-3-months service $20 each. The second bin is already discounted in the base two-bin price.

What is the difference between one-time, monthly, and every 3 months?

Accepted Answer

One-time is a single deep clean with no commitment. Monthly is the same cleaning repeated every month at the same price, which is what most customers choose to keep odor from ever coming back. Every 3 months is a quarterly visit for households that want regular cleaning at a lower yearly cost. There are no contracts on any plan.
